Product description: This is Disney Junior's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! Mickey Mouse gets to go for a ride in a hot air balloon! Put Mickey in his hot air balloon, send him down the zip line, and he lands on the lookout tower.  Mickey also gets to ride down the spiral slide, which swirls around the Clubhouse and ends in his boot-shaped garage where he lands right in his red car. Press the button inside the Clubhouse and Mickey's car launches out of the garage. Mickey can make a stop inside the Clubhouse and visit Toodles or go over the bridge and back to the balloon stand and start all over again! The set comes with a 3-inch poseable Mickey figure and his classic red car. Other figures and accessories sold separately and subject to availability.

Who is it for: Boys and girls age 2 and up!

Do we recommend it: Yes! This toy has provided Bud with hours of magical play, where he can use his imagination and join Mickey Mouse in the Clubhouse!

Things to be aware of:  Mickey is the only character included with this set.

Do we recommend it: Yes! So much fun imaginative play with these toys!

For ages 3+, requires the use of a tablet or smartphone, no batteries needed.  This is a wonderful toy to promote imagination and dexterity as you create different creations to add to your own personal world on the Play Doh Touch app.  You actually make your creature with the play doh, place it on the studio, scan it with your tablet or phone, and viola.. it appears in your world on the app.  Lot's of beautiful bright colors and fun sounds on the app to create a cheerful environment for kids to learn while they play.

Who is it for: Boys and girls age 3 and up!

Do we recommend it: Yes! So much fun interactive play with this toy from Play Doh.

Things to be aware of: At the age of 3, Bud had a little bit of difficulty using the app, but with a little practice he was able to use it without any trouble.

Product description:

This Monsters University Scare Floor is made by Fisher Price's Imaginext. Go to the scare floor and join Sully and Mike as they work to get their scream energy! You can actually watch the canister fill up with the scare energy! The set comes with doors that you can operate through the factory. You can also go to the mail room to sort out the mail and clean the scare floor with the broom set.

Who is it for: This set is for ages 3-8, but we believe older fans of Monster's Inc. will have fun too!

Do we recommend it: Yes! We think this is a fun toy that will encourage many hours of imaginative play!

Things to be aware of: Sully and Mike are the only characters included. Bud had a bit of trouble getting the canister to sit right to fill with energy, but he is on the lower range for the age recommendations.

Lego Duplo Mickey Mouse Birthday Parade Train Set Review

This set is for ages 2-5, has 28 pieces, works on fine motor skills, shapes and colors, and ideas and creativity. This was a great set that was fun and easy to put together.  Bud will be 3 in a few weeks and with some help from his Dad they had this put together in no time! Once it was all set up Bud had a blast playing with it! He felt like he was back at Disney World watching the parade!  

What we love about the set:

1. The set includes both Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
2. The set is also a train, and we all know how much little ones love trains!
3.  All of the pieces are just the right size so that it's still a bit of a challenge to put together, but never frustrating.
4. This set triggers some great imaginative play.
5. Hard to pinpoint what Bud's favorite part of the toy was as he had such a blast with every aspect of it!
6. Mom and Dad's favorite part was working together with Bud to create and also that he was learning while having fun!

What we didn't love about this set:

1.  Nothing!

This Lego Duplo Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Birthday Parade set is a total WIN!

If you're looking for a new building or Lego set for your 2-5 year old we highly recommend this!
